Microsoft Office Specialist - Training Options & Exams

The Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) qualification is the official Microsoft certification for the Office suite of applications.  The qualification is achieved by sitting online examinations and certification is available at Core and Expert level.

 

MOS certification proves candidates have demonstrated proficiency in the use of one or more of the Microsoft Office applications.

 

A number of different certification tracks are available, depending on the combination of exams learners sit.  Exams are 45-50 minutes in duration.

 

As an Authorised Testing Centre, SmartStyle offer a number of options to support learners who wish to prepare for exams.
 
  Cram Days with a Certified Master Instructor
 

Cram days are one of the most popular ways for preparing for the exams and are aimed at “filling the gaps” on one or more application.  The day comprises of assessment of candidates’ knowledge and then intensive one-to-one instruction on the topics covered during the exam.  This choice is particularly popular for people preparing for more than one exam.

  
   
  Microsoft Office Training Courses
 

Instructor led training courses ranging from 1 to 4 days in duration.  Courses cover the MOS syllabus and are intended to furnish learners with the skills required to pass the associated Microsoft Office Specialist exam.

  
   
  Microsoft Office Specialist - Self Start Learning Guides
 

To complement our comprehensive programme of instructor-led, classroom based training, SmartStyle can offer learners a series of Self-Start Learning kits, which provide everything necessary to prepare for, and sit a Microsoft Office Specialist exam. Contents include a "Step by Step" application instruction book from Microsoft Press, interactive learning and exam preparation software, and a voucher which covers the cost of the examination fee.
