SmartStyle are always interested to hear from exceptional and experienced freelance IT and professional development trainers who are interested in working for us on an associate basis. Our clients include Local Government organisations, NHS Trusts, Housing Associations, SME's, large corporate and blue chip companies.
Working as an associate would involve delivering instructor led training, often onsite at client premises, mainly within the north of England, but also nationally across the U.K. We expect our associates to deliver SmartStyle's own course material, activities and exercises.
If you are interested in working with us, we would expect the following:

- A minimum of 3 years experience of training delivery in a commercial environment
- An advanced level of skill and knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office or Adobe applications (IT Trainers)
- Unparalleled communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish immediate rapport and understanding with people from varying backgrounds, with varying status, experience and knowledge
- The ability and willingness to travel and undertake overnight stays
- An aptitude to absorb and disseminate information on new technologies and applications in time pressured situations (IT Trainers)
- An ability to think on their feet and remain calm in all environments and situations
- MOS Certification in Microsoft Office 2003, 2007 and/or 2010 (IT Trainers)
- Credibility and appropriate industry experience/work history (Professional Development Trainers)
- Experience of appropriate psychometric profiling tools (Professional Development Trainers)
